Installing Python on your Windows laptop

Files to download (from the Google Classroom "course materials" area)

1. create a folder c:\temp, save the following files to this folder
2. Python 2.7.14 (win 32-bit)
3. get-pip.py
4. install_python.bat
5. sq.py

Steps to follow

1. Double click on the downloaded python-2.7-14.msi program.
2. Open a command window and change directory to where you saved get-pip.py

cd c:\temp

1. execute get-pip.py
